Founded in 1852, Hästens handcrafts its beds in Sweden using entirely natural materials: horsehair, wool, cotton, slow-growing pine for the frames, and steel for the springs. No synthetic products, no chemical glues. Each bed is designed to provide decades of sleep.

Duxiana
Scandinavian Engineering and the Pascal System
Duxiana is now led by the fourth generation of the founding family. Its identity is based on its patented spring system and a patented innovation: the Pascal system, interchangeable spring cassettes that allow the bed’s firmness to be adjusted after delivery, without replacing the entire unit. A principle of durability rare in the bedding world.
The springs are manufactured in-house. The new Sustainable collection incorporates top layers of 90% natural latex, for a feel that is both precise and enveloping. The contemporary furniture present in the showroom, including the Jeston, an iconic piece designed by Bruno Mathsson in 1969, naturally extends this universe.

With Hästens, four firmness levels are available; with Duxiana, two options cover very different profiles. The choice of top mattress, mattress firmness, and the configuration of the base in one or two parts: each decision deserves genuine guidance.
Once your choice is made, we coordinate delivery and home installation with our dedicated logistics provider. The lead time is six to eight weeks, allowing time for your bed to be manufactured to your specifications. Home visits can be arranged for projects that require them.
