More than 170 years later, every bed leaves the same workshops, hand-assembled by artisans trained for years. The brand has remained family-owned and independent.
No synthetic materials or chemicals are used: only natural resources worked according to methods passed down from generation to generation.

The house is now in its fourth generation of leadership. Its centenary, marked in 2026, bears witness to a long-term vision.
It has developed patented innovations that now form the core of its technical identity, with manufacturing conducted entirely in-house, including its springs.

Hästens and Duxiana beds share two foundations: entirely natural materials and manufacturing conducted fully by each house.
What this means in practice: a bed whose properties are consistent from the first layer to the last, and whose durability is a direct consequence of its components. A Hästens or Duxiana bed is designed to last twenty, thirty years, and sometimes more.
Hästens: 100% natural, handmade since 1852
The Hästens signature is based on an absolute choice: no synthetic materials, no chemicals. Horsehair, wool, cotton, flax, slow-growth pine: these are the components of a Hästens bed. Each model is assembled by hand, layer by layer, in the Swedish workshops of Köping.
Our showroom displays several iconic models: the Maranga, the entry point into the Hästens continental universe; the Eala, whose enriched construction deepens the experience; and the iconic 2000T and Drēmər, for those who wish to discover the pinnacle of Hästens craftsmanship.
Each is available for trial in various firmness configurations.
Duxiana: the Pascal system and natural latex as a signature
Duxiana has developed two innovations that now form the core of its technical identity. The first is its system of interconnected springs, manufactured in-house: continuous support and pressure distribution that the house has mastered for decades.
The second is the Pascal system: interchangeable spring cassettes, integrated into the bed structure, which can be modified after delivery to adjust firmness without replacing the whole unit.

Ordering a Hästens or Duxiana bed is the beginning of a partnership. We coordinate the entire journey through to installation in your bedroom, via a dedicated logistics provider covering the entire area from Menton to Saint-Tropez.
The usual lead time is six to eight weeks after order confirmation.
Home visits can be arranged for projects that require them, particularly for specific layout constraints.
For purchases destined for other French regions, delivery by a specialized carrier can also be organized.

Both brands share Swedish origins, natural materials, and entirely in-house manufacturing. Hästens relies on layers of wool and cotton enveloping horsehair on either side of pocket springs for an enveloping and progressive sense of comfort. Duxiana distinguishes itself with its patented interconnected springs, its 90% natural latex, and its Pascal system for adjusting firmness over time: two different approaches to the same high standard.
